Christmas Eve Day

Well it's the day of Christmas Eve and i just want to take some room on the family blog to say how much my family means to me and that i care for them soooooooooooo much and how much i've thought about them especially those who wont be here this year. I realized today that this will most likely be my last Christmas with my family before my mission, and how much i'll miss them when i'm gone (i'm realizing that it's not olny hard to talk but also hard to type when you're crying). Love Matt

Success

I am victorious! After spending a small amout of time trying to figure how to work a blog (which was quite unfriutful) i turned to my trusty sister Candi, who taught me the ways of the blogger, and now the blog is mine! MAUHAHA!!!!

IM TAKING OVER THE BLOG

In my attempt to take over the world i decided to start with the slightly rusted family blog. In the process of doing so i found a couple of things I thought were funny such as the fact that the "my profile" section was based on mom NOT the family and that the bathroom we finished two days ago was started a year before (Ok now that I've really thought about it that bathroom thing is not so funny).

THEN AND NOW - OUR GRADUATE

We just got Matt's graduation picture back. He has gone from our darling little "joy boy" to such a handsome young man. We are truely blessed to have Matt in our family. There must be something to the idea children live up to your expectations. We have always called Matt our "joy boy" and he has certainly brought nothing but joy to us all. We love you Matt.

The next "Mighty Scriptorian" in the family

I know some of you thought I was tough on you when we sat down for scripture reading and for our family scripture discussions. But Hyrum has obviously learned from the master. Notice the bloodshot eyes and the serious expressions as we now sit down to our daily (or at least attempted daily) scripture reading. Count your many blessings that most of you are exempt from this type of strenuous study.
Note from Mom: The reality of the situation is that your dad has become a giant marshmellow and he thought it was hilarious when Hyrum showed up to scripture study in these funny glasses. We just went on with scripture study like nothing was unusual!

PROJECT UPDATE

The 1/2 bath is complete. The 3/4 is to come.

Work in Progress

Here are some current pictures of the bathroom renovation in progress. The tile is done up to the shower but we haven't put the finish along the top of the tile on the wall. That will happen when we finish the shower tile. The vanity is setting in the bathroom but not attached and the toilet isn't attached either, but you get the idea. Slow and steady wins the race. Right?
